The most important purposes of the Chancellor of Justice’s public relations are:

• informing people about possibilities of protecting their fundamental rights and freedoms;
• explaining and informing about the competence of the Chancellor of Justice;
• rising the authority and reliability of the Chancellor of Justice;
• developing values and constitutional culture.

The aims of the international relations are:

• obtaining knowledge from ombudsmen, Chancellor of Justices and international organisations;
• introduction of the institution outside Estonia;
• efficient exchange of information.
