Request for information
To get public information, you can submit a request for information to the Office of the Chancellor of Justice.
Public information is information which is recorded and documented in any manner and on any medium and which is obtained or created upon performance of public duties provided by law or legislation issued on the basis thereof. Thus, public information for the Office of the Chancellor of Justice is information which is recorded and documented in any manner and on any medium, which the Office of the Chancellor of Justice has obtained or created upon performance of public duties provided to the Chancellor of Justice by law.
We reply to the request for information in 5 working days.
It is not considered the request for information if responding requires the analysis and synthesis of the recorded information or the collection and documentation of additional information. In that case we reply in 30 working days.

Sending digitally signed documents
You can send digitally signed documents to the e-mail address info@oiguskantsler.ee
To receive a digitally signed document and to verify the validity of the digital signature the Office of the Chancellor of Justice uses software DigiDoc Client which is developed by the Estonian Certification Centre.
Digitally signed document must be in *.txt, *.rtf, *.pdf or *.jpg format because of the safety of data. Digitally signed text must not contain links which can change the content of the letter.
