Each year the Chancellor of Justice submits overview of his/her activities (annual report) to the Parliament (Riigikogu).

Annual report contains:

• overview of the conformity of the legislation passed by the state legislative and executive powers and local governments with the Constitution and the laws;
• overview of the activities of the Chancellor of Justice in the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms;
• overview of the Chancellor of Justice's activities for the prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

The summaries of the annual reports are available in English until the year 2007. From 2008 only overviews on the Chancellor of Justice's activities for the prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishmentare are available in English.
